If I’m under the age of 18, can I attend my appointment alone?
Unfortunately our policy is that you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If your parent or guardian are unable to attend your appointment, you may have a letter from your parent/guardian authorizing another adult to accompany you.
What do I need to bring to my visit?
Please make sure you bring your a) insurance cards, b) photo ID, c) X-rays & other diagnostic tests related to your condition, d) and a list of medications you’re currently taking to your APEX Orthopedics appointment.
Can I choose which APEX Orthopedics location I want to visit?
Most of our providers do see patients in both of our locations. Please give us a call and we can let you know when your provider is in our Overland Park or Belton Location.
Why do I have a co-pay each visit?
While we are generally happy to answer questions about billing, the amount of your co-pay is set by your insurance carrier. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about co-pays or insurance and we can help point you in the right direction.
When is my co-pay due?
All co-pays are due at the time service is rendered. If you are unable to pay your co-pay, be sure to contact your insurance carrier for more information about what steps you can take. You can also view our Payments & Insurance information online.
What forms of payment do you accept?
APEX Orthopedics accepts a variety of payment methods for our patients’ convenience. This includes cash, check, credit/debit Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

What if I don’t have insurance?
