Carpal Tunnel Release with Ultrasound Guidance

Dr. Brit Moore is at the forefront of ultrasound guided carpal tunnel releases, with Sonex Health technology. This system allows patients to return to work earlier, performed in the office, with only a small incision, and immediate motion of the hand for faster recovery.

The Sonex Health SX-One MicroKnife aids in maintaining a safe zone that allows patients to get back to all the things you want and need to do.

How does SONEX work?

Dr. Brit Moore utilizes the Sonex Health Microknife in carpal tunnel procedures in office at Apex Orthopedics & Sports Medicine

Using ultrasound, the transverse carpal ligament and surrounding anatomic structures are seen in real-time. A small incision is made and the Mircoknife is inserted over the carpal tunnel area.  MicroGuards are inflated to give extra safety for the surrounding areas. The blade is deployed, and the transverse carpal ligament is transected. The blade retracts and the MicroGuards are deflated, following removal of the Microknife. The small incision can then be closed with a bandage or sutures as needed.
